It's Five Minute Friday where I join Lisa-Jo Baker and the #FMFParty girls to write flat out for five minutes. No editing, no polishing, and then link up together. Come join the fun!
She left a job, a home, and a life in a loaded-down pickup truck with two small children buckled into the front seat beside her. It seemed like an adventure to them...she was scared out of her mind.
Scared of leaving. Scared of staying. Scared of being hurt. Again.
She was scared of what the future would hold, but more scared of how the past would continue to repeat itself until it became the present and the future for her children.
So she packed up belongings and babies and went back to the only place she knew to go...home. Home to family. Home to a church family.
It was there that she found peace and love and understanding. Not a single "I told you so" was ever uttered. It was there that she was ushered back into the loving arms of the Father who'd been waiting for her return.
She was loved and supported. She was encouraged and challenged. She was forgiven and freed.
She is me.
Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus...Romans 8:1
